How Uyirtham works
Four steps from installing the app to food at your door — and what happens on the kitchen’s side while you wait.
For customers
1. Sign in and add your address
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Your delivery pincode decides which kitchens you can see — you are only shown kitchens that have confirmed they deliver to you.
2. Tell us about your goals
A short questionnaire covers your age range, lifestyle, health goals, dietary preference, allergies and any medical conditions you want us to account for. It is optional and you can skip it, change your answers later, or use the app without it.
3. Pick a pack, or single items
Browse the packs recommended for you, or search the full catalogue of packs and individual items from kitchens near you. Every listing shows what is in it, its nutrition information and its allergens, as supplied by the kitchen.
4. Order once or subscribe, then track it
Pay online or choose cash on delivery where the kitchen offers it. You will see the full price breakdown before you pay. Once the kitchen accepts, you can follow the order through preparation, dispatch and delivery in the app.
What happens in the kitchen
Orders close at the kitchen’s cut-off
Most food is cooked to order for the next day. Each kitchen sets its own cut-off time, so orders placed before it are prepared for the following day. Some kitchens also offer same-day delivery, which is shown when it is available.
The kitchen plans against tomorrow’s orders
Because demand arrives ahead of time, the kitchen sees exactly what it needs to buy and prepare before it starts cooking — which is what keeps a subscription reliable.
The kitchen’s own rider delivers
Packs are dispatched with the kitchen’s own rider. Uyirtham does not run a delivery fleet.
Holidays are blocked in advance
Kitchens publish the days they are closed, and those dates cannot be ordered for. If a kitchen has to close at short notice, affected orders are cancelled and everyone is notified.
What it costs
TODO(content) — Pricing explainer: typical pack price range, how delivery charges work and any free-delivery threshold, and whether subscriptions are priced differently from one-off orders. ⚠ Do not publish a "starting from" figure — the customer app already shipped an invented one.
